Moving is an exciting transition, but it does carry a number of responsibilities. We want to help you navigate the process without hitting any bumps in the road, which is why we created the checklists on this page. Please read through the information below to guide your move in the right direction.

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit
Your first month's rent payment and your security deposit both must be paid when you sign the lease. Please check the amounts with us in advance.
Move-in Date & Inspection
We will schedule your move-in date and provide the initial inspection information at the lease signing.
Utility accounts for your rental home need to be placed in your name immediately upon signing the lease. Please review our utilities information for contact details.
Notice of Intent to Vacate
Planning to move out of your rental home? Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate your home. Please remember, if you're breaking your lease a fee equal to 1 ½ month’s rent will be charged.
Your home should be brought back to its original rental condition before you move out. This includes:
- Rental Cleaning: Properly clean every room in your rental home and remove all of your personal belongings from the property.
- Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you generally take care of outdoor maintenance and landscaping chores for your home, please do these once more before moving.
- Repairs: If any damage has occurred during your stay, please take the necessary measures to make repairs.
By state statute, we are obliged to return your deposit within 31 days. We make every attempt to return the deposit sooner than this, however.
We perform a final inspection when you vacate the premises and if we identify any damage, we will schedule repairs and deduct expenses from your deposit. The remainder will be returned to you.
